U.S. Hard (LA)

+ U.S. Hard

Santiago Leyba is an artist and musician based in Portland, OR. He was the drummer for post-punk band Hausu and also codes algorithmic music/visual art via puredata. He is interested in sound as an environment for indeterminate affective response. This project, in particular, ephasises his interest in the mechanics of making bodies move, perhaps the simpliest of affective responses. His past work in post-hardcore, noise, and drone inform his newest project, U.S. Hard.
